My Tattoo Journey
When I was eighteen, I got my first tattoo. It was a small black star on my left wrist. I remember being so nervous before getting it done, but once it was over, I was hooked. Since then, I’ve gotten six more tattoos, each with their own meaning and story. Here’s my tattoo journey.

What was your first tattoo
My first tattoo was a small black heart on my left wrist. I was 17 years old and it was a spur-of-the-moment decision. I had always wanted a tattoo, but never knew what I wanted. One day, I walked in to a tattoo shop with a friend and saw a design that I liked. I decided to go for it and got the tattoo.
I don’t regret my decision to get a tattoo. I think it’s a beautiful piece of art that represents who I am. It has been nearly 10 years since I got my tattoo and it has held up well. I have no regrets about my first tattoo and would recommend it to anyone considering getting one.
What is your favourite tattoo
I have always loved tattoos and the idea of having one. I think they are so beautiful and can be so personal. My favourite tattoo is one that I got recently of a phoenix. The phoenix is a symbol of rebirth and strength, and I feel like it represents me well. I love the colours and the detail in the tattoo, and it has a lot of meaning to me.

This is due to the lack of fat and muscle in these areas, which means the tattoo needle is coming into contact with bone. Other sensitive areas can include the armpits, groin, and behind the knees.
What is the meaning behind your tattoos
There are a lot of people out there who have tattoos, and each one has their own unique meaning behind them. For some, it may be a symbol of strength or courage. Do you have any regretful tattoos
I got my first tattoo when I was 18 years old. It was a small rose on my left shoulder and I loved it. A few years later, I decided to get another tattoo – this time a Celtic cross on my right shoulder. Again, I loved it. But then, a few years after that, I made a decision that I regret – I got a large tattoo of a dragon on my back.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I still think dragons are cool. But this tattoo is just too big and it’s in a place that makes it very difficult to cover up. So, whenever I have to go to a job interview or meet with a client, I always make sure to wear something that will cover my back.
It’s not that I regret the tattoos themselves – I still think they look good – it’s just that I regret the decision to get such large and visible tattoos. If I could go back in time, I would definitely choose to get smaller tattoos in places that are easier to conceal.
How do you feel about tattoos in the workplace
I personally feel that tattoos in the workplace can be both a positive and negative thing. On one hand, I think that they can show that the person is creative and unique. On the other hand, I think that some employers may view them as unprofessional.
I think that it ultimately depends on the type of tattoo and the company culture. For example, if someone has a small, discreet tattoo, I don’t think it would be an issue in most workplaces. However, if someone has a large, visible tattoo, it might be more difficult to find a job in a traditional company.

Are you planning on getting any more tattoos
No plans for more tattoos at the moment, but who knows what the future holds! For now, I’m happy with the ink I have and don’t feel the need to add anything else.
