The Richmond Tattoo Arts Festival will take place from October 20-22, 2023, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Richmond in Richmond, Virginia. The festival is hosted by JD Crowe and Jesse Smith, who are delving into its origins in 1988.

The event will feature a lineup of tattoo artists, including local and internationally recognized artists, as well as celebrity artists. The festival will also have tattoo industry vendors and many local vendors from Richmond.

Entertainment at the festival will include contests, live music, shows, after-parties, and more.

Tickets for the festival are priced at $20 for Friday, $35 for Saturday, $25 for Sunday, and $40 for the entire weekend. Children 12 and under get in for free, and there are discounts for military personnel, senior citizens, and students. Evening entertainment tickets purchased after 8 pm are priced at $10 for Friday night and $15 for Saturday night.

The festival has been successful in previous years, with editions held in 2022, 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2007, 2001, and 1993- the first edition.
